San Jose, Ca. - Con circa 20 anni di ritardo sullo spettacolare "live at Wembley'86" sono finalmente andato ad un concerto dei mitici Queen. Dunque: Freddie Mercury (voce) e' morto da mo', John Deacon (basso) e' andato in pensione, Roger Taylor (batteria) pesa sui cento chili. Fortunatamente Brian May (chitarra) ha solo la pancia.....Sul palco solo gli ultimi due coadiuvati da Paul Rogers che canta. Patetico o almeno cosi' pensavo, fino a che alla terza canzone May si butta su una versione di Brighton Rock Solo da 15 minuti! E da li in poi sti' 4 simpatici vecchietti sprizzando merda da tutti i pori tirano fuori un concerto stracazzutissimo! Non loro dico solo io, sembrava dirlo anche il tizio che stava accanto a me dalle parti dei tecnici del suono, un certo James Hetfield, che durante Bohemian Rhapsody mimava il riff tenendo il tempo colla testa. Dio come amo la California!

On stage the last 2 only helped by Paul Rogers singing. Patetic, or at least so I thought, till as third song, May pulls out a 15 min version of Brighton Rock Solo! And from there on these nice 4 full-of-shit seniors shovel a super kick-ass concert! I'm not the only one saying that, the buddy on my left close to the sound techs, a certain James Hetfield, seemed to agree, air guitarring and headbanging at the rhythm of Bohemian Rhapsody. God, I love California!
