Alameda Beach

Questa spiaggia e' a poche miglia da noi e non ci siamo mai stati in 4 anni. L'acqua non e' nemmeno troppo orrenda. Tipo adriatico e neppure troppo gelata perche' e' calma. Infatti BabyO mi ha portato a spasso per la battigia, cosi giusto perche' attaccato al mio dito si viaggia , meglio (lui) e ci si ingobbisce (io). Comunque abbiamo provato due nuove cose: castelli di sabbia e surf. Il primo con risultati disastrosi, torri non distrutte 0 e sabbia ingerita molta.

This beach is few miles driving from us but we somehow never been there in 4 years. The water isn't even too disgusting, A little bit like the Adriatic sea and not too cold because not stormy. Indeed BabyO wagged me up and down the shore, if not for other reason because it is better to walk clinched to one of my fingers (him) and one gets hunched (me). Anyways we experienced two new things: sandcastles and surfing. The former was a disaster: now way to get a tower up and tons of swallowed sand.

Col surf andiamo meglio....surfing is a little better...


Alla fine sushi (ah, le meraviglie americane di avere un centro commerciale dietro la spiaggia...) e tutti contenti! In the end sushi lunch (ah, the american wonder of having a mall walking distance from the beach...) and everybodies' happy!

I feel rather stimulated/Mi sento piuttosto stimolato

Questo mese l'affitto ce lo paga il fisco americano. Hanno deciso che, siccome siamo in crisi, bisogna sostenere l'economia con un bello "stimolus". Cosi' hanno mandato d'amble' per posta ad ogni americano che paga le tasse (quindi noi inclusi) una bella bustina con dentro un bell'assegnino, nudo e crudo. Dice solo "2008 Economic stimulus payment"

Che stile, che essenzialita'. Ciapa el dinero e God bless Amerika.
