Movie with Baby/Cinema col Pupo

Yesterday, we managed to go watch "Hairspray", a funny musical with Travolta playing an uberfat drag mom. And, surprise we brought BabyO along!!! So much for those people with kids that say:" I haven't been to the theater in years!"

The catch is that the theater in question, called "el cerrito speakeasy", on Tueasdays has what they call the "baby brigade"night. It means that they allow new babies in. Since everyone is there with his/her bundle-o-noise, none complains about occasional screams and cries. More; it's ceap (6$), has couches (!!!) and serves good food (!!!!!) and beers (!!!!!!!!!!!). I feel we'll soon become regulars. Needless to say, babyO sleep tru most of the movie, which was noisier than a action flick. Yay for intelligent theaters!

Ieri siamo riusciti ad andare a vedere Hairspray, un simpatico musical con Travolta che fa la parte della drag mamma superobesa. E, udite udite ci siamo portati babyO con noi!!! Alla facciazza delle coppie con bambini che dicono: "e' anni che non vado al cinema".

Il trucco e' che il cinema in questione, che si chiama "el cerrito speakeasy" al Martedi fa la serata bambini. Cioe' fanno entrare bimbi sotto l'anno. Siccome tutti si portano il loro disperatello, ovviamente nessuno si lamenta per l'occasionale piagnutina o gridolino. In piu' e' economico (6$), ha i divani (!!!), serve buon cibo (!!!!!) e birra (!!!!!!!!). Mi sa che a breve saremo li di casa. Inutile a dirsi babyO se l'e' dormita per quasi tutto il film, che era piu' rumoroso di un film d'azione. Evviva i cinema intelligenti!

Muir woods

Altra gita con gli zii a Muir Woods, un bosco di sequoie a nord di San Francisco. BabyO si e' divertito un mondo a fare il folletto del bosco!

Mare, mare, mare...../Sea, sea, sea...

...Lago! Sembra Sardegna ma non lo e'! E' sempre lake Tahoe (a 1800 mt.), ma grazie al fatto che el granit l'e' semper granit assomiglia alla costa smeralda. Acqua un po' piu' fredda e decisamente meno salata...Beccatevi una rassegna di foto della nostra 96 ore di vacanza insieme alla famiglia in visita per l'estate.

...Lake! Looks like tropics but it's not! It's Tahoe as usual, but thanks to the fact that granite rocks are the same everywhere this looks like a tropical shore. Colder water and way less salty...Here is a phototour of of our 96-hour vacation with family visiting for the summer.

T e L mimano creazione (La foto non c'entra un'acca col resto - a parte il fatto che testimonia che il fatto che eravamo in una spiaggia di nudisti e che io sono sempre il solito vizioso nudista-esibizionista - ed e' un bieco pretesto per mostrarmi seminudo sul blog, e ringraziare che per il rispetto che tengo per il povero Rocco Siffredi (santo subito) ho tagliato la parte bassa della foto! (PS anche zioL sembra nudo ah ah!)
